More about our values…

We help companies to train inspired leaders and teams to improve performance . We work with managers and their teams to give them the means and the motivation to function better together to the greater benefit of all, your clients included.

If you want to strengthen your management, improve results or develop team building and motivation strategies with a real difference, you've come to right place !

It's a common observation today : our era is one of profound change and enormous pressure. Our personal and professional social lives have become a highly mobile and precarious 'theatre of operations'.

The context of these pressures is clear, our social life is governed by two conflicting forces : interdependence and intense competition. High career mobility, changing market plans, mergers, restructurings : the future belongs to those who are determined and clever enough to exploit the new gaps and opportunities that arise from each imbalance, each transformation, each metamorphosis; those who have developed the ability to react quickly, smoothly, together in an everchanging world. We need to train tomorrow's leaders today! They will need :

  • Autonomy and adaptability,
  • Endurance in the face of change ,
  • Creativity and innovation,
  • The ability to cooperate and share information,
  • Resistance to the instability and stress of competition,
  • A capacity to "shine" and bounce back.

The development of an individual's resources and the team's resources is inseparable. Companies and organisations will only possess these faculties if their employees have developed them. Even if the personnel basically already possess such qualities, the education system has not encouraged their development. It's therefore necessary to act... to encourage the personnel to act. Because the individual and the team can 'contaminate' each other just as they can enrich each other.

Clearly there are group functionnings that hamper and destroy personal resources, and personal attitudes that undermine collective resources. This is why we are careful, in all our activities and management trainings, to offer concrete opportunities to experiment with processes that involve both personal attitude and collective behaviour and the organisation of these behaviours.

For example :

Overcoming failing strategies :

  • prejudices and isolation,
  • the limiations of binary logic,
  • communication failures (transfers, identifications, projections, rumours),
  • the utopia syndrome (failure to achieve what could be achieved by aiming for the inaccessible...),
  • the " Festinger syndrome " (auto-validations, manipulations, misinformation),
  • self censure, destructive criticism,
  • the modules of leadership ill-adapted to contemporary network structure (niches, mini fiefdoms, cliques…)

Practising successful strategies :

  • the releasing of information and creative resources,
  • interaction and feedback,
  • reformulating, filtering and dispatching information,
  • negotiating a common solution (win/win relationships and the logic of coproduction),
  • the platforms of communication and multi viewpoints of collective intelligence,
  • individual daring, responsiblity, creativity ... workshops

" A man is not good at everything, but he is never good for nothing. "
Chinese Proverb

Without wanting to overdo the Chinese proverbs (!), it is clear that this is particuarly relevant today... at the very least we can draw a positive lesson from it. For these tough and changing times do not inevitably have to be a a time of terror. We who are actors and coaches by profession, are used to a lack of certainty and security and we have had to acquire and practise a positive, open and active frame of mind. Perhaps it is thanks to this training that we have naturally reversed the dysphoric mantra "you have to change to survive"... and prefer to say "it's because we are alive that we change" !

This frame of mind permeates our work and what we wish to achieve. It inspires our trainings and workshops. It legitimises their fun, stimulating and motivating character. And sometimes it can even be contagious !

"Practise what you preach"... we ourselves have adapted to these changing times.

How did we get to be trainers ?: an atypical path, and a diverse and pragmatic background. At the end of the 80's, a new relationship between professional actors and the company was born. The notion of "Theatre serving the company" is the best known, but in reality, this relationship is a lot richer than it seems. In fact, during our fifteen years experience of working with the business world, we have taken part in several hundred operations : internal communication, marketing events, PR and management games.

Whilst continuing to serve the theatre of operations in event managment, we have have become particulary interested in the demands that we've received from informed HR managers concerning the development of "collective intelligence".

This request, positionned as a search to support and complement tried and tested communication and management techniques, is generally expressed like this : we've already learned to communicate.. by reducing the brain to equations ... by compartmentalising the person we're talking to (whom we're supposed to hurriedly analyse) ...

But if today the essential (and indeed most difficult) thing were to put partners in positions where they just simply have to listen, learn, evolve ... ?

If the essential thing were to find again new, motivating, active and creative interactive situations ...

This is an exciting and tempting challenge for us, as it reunites us with those from our first profession. In collaboration with them we have taken up the challenge, step by step, and forged the "Team Building Intelligence Service" and its original approach and the values that we are sharing with you on this site.

This course of action has enabled us to create very active methods and products on the following themes : Communication-cooperation training, Training and motivating sales teams, Team-Building, Decompartmentalisation, Team coaching.

The disciplines of acting/working :
Activities and workshops designed as "trainings".

Our first profession is one of action, communication, team work. To do it, one has to accept to continually practise the disciplines of working collectively and individually. Professional actors are obliged to do one project directly after another, often very different in nature, with ever-changing teams. Therefore if actors and the directors of actors agree to communicate their knowledge and know-how, in all these theatres, they will have a lot of useful disciplines to share.

They are the professionals of acting in partnership with others (collective action). They like and understand it, they know the demands made and their price. They respect it. These are the values that permeate our workshops and trainings, through our exercises. It is our contact with the realities of the business world over the years, that has enabled us to produce activities perfectly atuned to these realities.

A word on our Team Building products :
Objective : to create the paradigm of a collective intelligence experience through a fun and educational challenge.

We create thought and action-provoking, federating events that deliver a concrete experience that can then be used and developped by your managers to address managerial concerns.

These team building products act on three levers :

  • the action dynamic: an interactive scenario,
  • the participative nature of games : a simulation with objectives,
  • the stimulation produced by the activites : fun, practical exercices.

They are scenarios to act out (an adventure/scene/game with an objective), subject to certain limitations (your objectives in terms of management issues : cross departmental communication, team training, ways of functioning "in house"), facilitated by experienced coaches who spur the participants into action.

Presented as an fun and appealing event in the life of a company, they enable the creation of a unifying model or the transmission of your management values and practices without being heavy or redundant.

Because though a role play or a creative task, these games put the participants in the situation of actively experiencing a range of management scenarios inspired by the real issues that concern them, and the messages that you want to communicate. By placing this discourse in the context of a tailormade fiction, and through the festive and singular nature of this moment of collective experience, you can effect your team culture with elegance and originality.

In the words of an anonymous proverb of eternal wisdom

"If you only do what you have always done
you will only obtain what you have always obtained ."
