High Caliber Contact - Communication and Synergy
Overview
High Caliber Contact is a simulation about communication and the creating of added value together. It gives the participants an ideal platform to experience numerous situations of teamwork and synergy.
High Caliber Contact answers the question : how the sum of the skills of each individual can create more added value for the company ?
In teams, the participants are given resources : precious stones, money, information cards, ...
Simulation
Their challenge : increase their wealth through negociation and exchange.
All the conditions are gathered so that each team can actually increase its wealth.
But are the participants aware of this ?
Objective
This business game :
- creates conviviality in the seminar ;
- forces people to act, communicate, meet.
To guarantee the success, a number of virtues are recommended :
- ability to communicate easily and with efficiency ;
a spirit of sharing ; - trust ;
- understanding others’ needs.
The lessons
The participants will discover by themselves the key factors of success for a group :
- A number of immaterial resources can be found in the group.
- Why look for, analyse and use information ?
- Information is related to the strategy and the objectives.
- Reactivity with regards to information is fundamental.
- Direct and open communications are the key to effectiveness.
- Trust is fundamental. How to create and maintain it ?
- A “me focus” attitude blocks the process. A “us focus” attitude enriches the process.
- How to create and maintain synergy ?
- Everybody can discover which are the “bridles” to creating value in the company, and how to get rid of them through communication.
A debriefing session follows, in order for the participants to express themselves.
Analysing the experience
- At the end of the game, the participants, still in teams, are invited to think about what they have just experienced, their becoming aware of certain behaviours and actions, their discoveries.
- Thanks to a reflexion guide, they analyse how the different subjects of the simulation have been lived : communication, trust, synergy …
- This is a first level of analysis.
The debriefing
- Then, the participants will share their impressions.
- In a plenary session, they will talk about what they have seen and felt, exchange points of view. This creates the conditions for a real enrichment.
Résults
- With High Caliber Contact, the participants experience an original event, with action, enthusiasm and fun.
- But more than this, they will have lived a common experience that will reinforce the feeling of belonging to a group and a company.
- They will have met together, talked, developed links between them and therefore team spirit.
- They will have seen and understood the opportunities for their group to improve its efficiency, especially in terms of communication, individual vs common objective. They will have taken responsibility to translate ideas and wishes into actual actions.
- This event may serve as a base for future teamwork.
Durée moyenne : 1h15 + débriefing 45mn à 1 heure
